At 0506 hours, the Engine and Tower Company from 19 were alerted to assist with the building fire at 14901 Braddock Rd. in the 3800 Box area. The Engine and Tower were the first engine and first truck on the second alarm. First alarm units were on the scene with fire thru the roof. The building, which is a barn converted into a Golf Course Activities building, had fire in the attic area, which has vented at the peek of the bowstring truss roof.

The units from 19 staged in the parking lot, but were soon put to work. The Tower was assigned as part of roof Operations, along with TL-440, T-438, and later on, T-403. The Tower was postioned on Side C behind TL-440, and opened up a 8' X 8' hole to assist with ventilation.

The Engine Company was assigned interior work (assisting with overhaul), and then backed up the Tower crew from 19 later in the incident.

The Engine cleared at 0807, and the Tower Ladder at 0947.
